I read an article about this scam and then saw a documentary about it. Who in the heck can possibly believe this stuff?

No I don't believe there is anything substantial to it. And somehow while researching indigo, I found an article claiming to help people who aren't indigos to awaken their DNA to activate all the strings. For a mere $400 you can phone in and the master will project his energy to you over the phone by frequency and your DNA will be connected to the power of the whole universe.

Holy crap where is my Visa card I can hardly wait.................NAAHHH

Whether you call them Indigo Children, Rainbow Kids, Millennium Children, New Children, or Crystal Children, there are a growing number of very unusual kids on the planet... gifted young people born with memories of past lives, the ability to see spirits, angels and energy in motion... kids who can heal with a touch, can see what you feel and know what you're thinking.

Most Indigos were born from 1978 to about 1998.
Indigo kids are the people who will rock our world. They will change government as we know it. They loathe dishonesty and liars will be out. They will change the way schools work. Already I see many new schools sprouting that do not teach in the traditional ways. They are referred to as alternative schools. Also, many families are choosing home-schooling. Some new schools let the child decide what he wants to learn or do. I feel that these kids are evolving gifted children. More than just gifted.

Here are some common traits of Indigo Children:

* They are very intelligent, and very oriented toward their purpose on earth.
* They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it).
* They have a feeling of deserving to be here.
* They often tell the parents "who they are".
* They may seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School can be very difficult for them socially.
* They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did").
* They are not shy in letting you know what they need.
* They often have lots of energy.

Several million children are labeled ADHD and almost nine million children are drugged as early as age 3.
Many, if not most of the Indigo Children are misdiagnosed as ADHD. In fact, Dr. Kathy McKloskey says if a child is diagnosed with ADHD, often they are Indigos. Yet they are not learning disabled! In fact, their IQ is generally above average. They simply learn differently, require a different learning environment, and often resist the kind of absolute authority that characterizes most school systems.
Drugging the children, say these psychologists, is not the answer. It does not improve school performance, and may have frightening side effects. The media seldom reports that most school shootings are by individuals on prescribed medication.
There are many alternatives to drugging. Nutritionally, these high-energy children often improve when sugar and stimulants are completely eliminated from their diets. Nutritional supplements for those tending toward ADHD includes calcium, magnesium, high quality fats and oils, choline and inositol.

In conclusion, I'd like to emphasize that ALL children are special – however Indigos are certainly different – challenging, enlightening, unusual, and most of all surprising. As mothers we recognize that early on. The sooner we learn to accept them and give them what they need, the easier and more joyful our days will be watching them change the world.

When I first heard of them, I was really interested in it, believing that my son could be one of them. After doing some pretty extensive research, it seems to me that this is just another Yuppie craze and it'll die off soon.

A lot of burnt-out hippies believe it.

Too many years of drug abuse.
