second pregnancy??

Question

Do babies tend to come earlier in second pregnancies?
If you have had more than one child, at how many weeks did you deliver???

They come when they want. The theory is the next labour will be better but each labour is different. Dilation does tend to be smoother because the body remembers what happened last time. Hope all goes well.

Having more then one baby doesn't contribute to early birth. All they say is that the labor goes faster. I had my second child 4 1/2 weeks late but my first was on time. My third and fourth was early due to premature labor at 22 and 24 weeks. If you do happen to go into premature labor they have something called breathine and magnesium sulfate that they will use to try to stop it. I would not be concerned about premature labor if you are healthy and have not done anything to hurt yourself. Good Luck.

My first came 12 days early, she was a girl. My second came 3 weeks early to the day, had a boy. Both were 100% healthy. Also dont forget that your due date can be up to two weeks early or late according to my OBGYN. However, I was bigger with my second and he weighed more than his sister. We all say that he ran out of room and was ready to come into the world.

1st was at 40 weeks 2nd was at 30 weeks and third was at 37 weeks. My first was normal my second my placenta ruptured and the third was two weeks early but normal.

i have had 5 pregnancies, the only baby that actually came on the due date was my 2nd. the rest of them were all late. each is different
