Hmmm...well, I have a hard time when people don't use the common courtesies, such as saying "excuse me" "thank you" and "please". They are simple words, but very meaningful and necessary. I don't appreciate parents who let their children run around and scream and holler in public places, such as restaurants and stores. And then there's the person who answers the phone and says "Yeah" instead of "Hello". Oh, and what about the idiots who don't seem to get the concept of always staying to the right when they walk down a street or a hallway or an aisle in a store...then cop an attitude when the other person (who is walking the correct way) doesn't move! But I think the classic is the person who is just SO important and SO busy that he can't put down the damn cell phone in a check out line and give the cashier the respect he/she deserves.

I find it rude when another person on Y!A emails you calling you a liar (erroneously) and then doesn't have the backbone to respond. Or the decency to admit that she was wrong and apologize.

Then goes around reporting your answers. That's the sort of thing I consider to be very rude. If you want to know who it is (I can't put their name in here because if I do, she reports me and I get 10 points taken away) but I can refer you to the blog link.

And I can say that she responded to this question earlier.

Oh, and this is not insulting another participant. This is stating facts.

Walking an inch in front of my face; pretending I’m not there! Eek!

Bumping into crowds; not bothering to look where you’re walking; and cursing those you bump into. Eek!

Being a xenophobe.

Being a bigot.

Asking, ‘What’s your race?’ when you’ve just met me seconds ago! Arrrgh!

Asking, ‘How much do you earn?’ Arrrgh!

Bad phone manners, such as not saying ‘hello’, not saying ‘bye’, putting me on hold forever, making lots of noise while I am on hold, and trying to get rid of me a.s.a.p!

Writing trick questions on Yahoo.

Making snide remarks about your avatar – instead of answering a question. It happened to me once. For crying out loud – it’s an avatar, designed by Yahoo itself!

So many things..... rude is everywhere, is it not? As long as it is not my children, family, or self being rude, it does not concern me as rudeness is just a lack of self worth combined with ignorance.

When you are talking to someone and everything you say gets turned back to them. Or they talk over the top of you. One of my friends does both those things all the time and I threw a wobbly at her about it the other day. Grrr....

People who smack their food when eating.
People who talk with food in their mouths.
People who don't say "Excuse me."
People who smack their gum constantly.
People who don't say "Please" or "Thank You."
Also, if I smile to someone, and they're so rude they don't smile back. At least be a little courteous.
I just hate rude people who talk behind others backs and are really loud.
One more, when someone stares, that is so annoying and disrespectful.

People who throw cigarette butts out of their car, or park in handicapped spaces when it's obvious they're fine.

People who talk with their mouth full, and little flecks of food fly in your face. Or anyone who chews with their mouth open.

People who let their dogs poop in your yard without cleaning them up.

People who talk during movies continuously, as if they're in their own living room.

Not to acknowledge someone as they enter a room. At least to say hello is the right thing to do.
Not to say good-bye when hanging up the phone.
