Yes you should make new friends, you kind of miss out on a lot without friends. As far as you making friends with guys that shouldn't be a problem especially if your husband really trusts you. However you might want to make sure that you establish with the guy that you're looking for a friend and nothing else, but don't say it like that i'm sure you'd be able to work it into a conversation. as far as sights i'm not really sure. i use myspace.com but i only use that to keep in touch with friends from school

Well, I'm 14, and I just moved to a new state less than a year ago. So this is my first summer having new friends here. I don't have any childhood friends (long story.) So I don't know what it's like to lose them. For the first week or two, my friends came over to ask me to go places, but then after a while, they stopped coming or doing anything that involved me. I get really, really lonely throughout the day, and sad. And I'm worried that when school starts again I still won't know them well enough to fit in with them comfortably. So what do I do to keep myself occupied? Chores. And the internet. I'm living such a sad and pathetic life... But at least it keeps my mind off of the stress, anxiety, depression, etc. Anything, even cleaning, is better than sitting around wondering why I don't seem to have any real friends.

some yahoo chatrooms are decent. I like the one under romance and it's called location. I don't know why it's under romance. But you pick from any state. Doesn't have to be your own. But you can find local people. Ypu have to have a yahoo email address or at least open a yahoo account for email even if you don't want to use it. Just for messenger. And also facebook. You can keep in touch with people from school, college, or work. They have a ton of different groups you can join or you can make your own. You might like facebook better than myspace. Or try both. Good luck!

On line is fine for friends but just don't take the friendships too seriously. Here one day gone the next. If you want long term friends I suggest you make them at school or in your community. Get out more and just talk to people, that is how you can make friends sweetie. Your personality is everything. Smile and laugh, learn to enjoy life not for what you don't have but for what you do. I hope I helped you a little, mandy.
