I am from the west coast and currently have tmobile, but I am not completly satisfied with their service. They're are not enough cell phone towers and a lot of the places I travel to I do not get service. I want to switch to either cingular or verizon. Which service do you think is better?

Verizon - they tell their customers what is going on.
Cingular stinks - they droped some towers and then didn't tell anyone. So then on a lonely stretch of highway I get in a wreck and can't call the police.

I also have T-mobile and you are right there are not enough towers but the 1000 minute plan can't be beat, so it is a trade off.
you might be able to set your phone to search for other towers, sometimes when I go from CA to AZ the phone switches to Cingular towers so I have a signal.

Had cingular for at least 10 years now and have been very happy with them.

I have a Nextel and since they are partners with Sprint now they get good coverage everywhere except certain parts of Mississippi. My husband is an over the road truck driver and we can talk to each other where ever he is.

properly my kin had the two at one time and in traveling everywhere in the U. S. we observed that AT&T referred to as out everywhere and Verizon did no longer. Plus with AT&T you have roll over minutes and Verizon you do no longer. So my kin have been all AT&T now because of fact that is in order that lots greater desirable.

i love verizon, i never have any problems with coverage and they always get my bill right.
