I have a studio apt. in my back yard. I am not interested in any long term renting. I want to rent it out for multiple short term periods almost like a time share or long vacation. Any ideas? San Diego California

contact a local language school. most of them do homestay, and the stays are usually 1 week to 6 months and anything inbetween.

You need to go through the housing authority in your state and register with them or they can give you a list of agencies that will do this. And you need a lawyer to draw up a contract so that it is legal for you to rent. You place ads and what the rental is used for. You make a contract for the renter. Make sure you make all contract very clear and very detailed so that nothing can go wrong.

yes contact a bonfide realestate agent and put it in there hands let them deal with your rental needs for a small fee, let them come inn and screen your prespective tenants and collect your rents and have them scren these people really really good hons, and when you are collecting the rents sopecify too your realstate agent look, no checks all cash or personal money orders thats the key to getting your money let them do the bull work hons! and make inspections on your prioperty to.
