I think that if they are both painted a color they SHOULD match as it looks tacky if they don't. BUT..... If you only paint either toes or fingernails a color and the other clear or nothing, I think that is fine. That is only my opinion and those who are artists may be better expressed by multiple colors, though not for me! mandy

It really depends on personal preference. Some people like to paint their nails and toenails the same color, others will always do them different. Right now it's "in" for them not to match. Colors that look good on your hand nails might night necessarily look as good on your toenails. Dark colors are really popular for fingernails at the moment. Burgundy, dark dark browns and purples, and even black are being spotted on a lot of celebs. You can try OPI Lincoln Park After Dark or Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Always Ascher, two of my favorites. For toenails some of the same dark colors are in, but light pinks and nudes always look great.

Personally i think it dosn't matter whatever u like. Just be your own person. And people will like u for who u r and if there painted the same colour of different colours no ones going to make a big deal its just a personally preference i guess.

I sometimes do my nails pink and my feet black. Or my nails pink and feet pink. sometimes I do exactly each nail a diff colour, whilst im feeling random. sometimes i'm going to do feet and hand nails the comparable colour, whilst i think like each little thing hasss to be perfecto! lol. you are able to paint your feet lilac / a soft pink. it actual relies upon on the temper, i assume.

It don't have to be the same colour, otherwise it will be too boring... i think fingernail colour should matches your clothes while the toe colour should matches your shoe... But it shouldn't be too contrast... just match like you match you shoe n clothes.

no its not too great when they match, its nice if you accent one with the other, like putting hot pink toes with like light pink nails with hot pink flowers on them that match the toes

i don't always do the same color! It looks to plain and ordinary. but i would say yeah they must match some what or it clashes

doesnt have to be the same colour but it should match. think - wearing matching bra and undies. what looks nicer. matching or not

yeah i guess..i always put them in the same color..but they don't have to match..
