You need to eat more anything,.but really you need to eat things with a bunch of carbs & protien look for foods with high carbs and protien, carbs are good but, dont eat to much sugar if you do that will only make you fat. go anywhere and get some weight gainer its pretty cheap these days, get the one with the most protien ..

I hope you're not talking about pounds. regardless eat foods with lots of protein such as steak, drink milk and water, lift weights and since you're not dieting you can still eat a pretty good amount of sugar but don't go over board because then the only weight you will gain is fat (not attractive)

I am confused about this question. I hope you really do not weigh 40 lbs. If you are having weight loss, have you seen your doctor. Are you eating? Taken dietary supplement like ensure boost? Loose stool?You may have a colitis, IBS, ulcers,divertic tape worm etc.. If you want to gain weight, you want it to be a healthy way. Eat carbs,and protein. they are higher in calories.
