Dear Buda,
YES! I am currently sponsoring several people and I have a sponsor so this is a good start, huh? I am guessing you are in AA or NA. If you are working steps in another program like gamblers, over eaters, cybersex, etc., I may not be of much help.
In the Big Book read pg.63 starting at the bottom of the page...Next we launched out...read on to the end of the chapter pg.71. Don't be worried about doing this step. Just do it.Go somewhere quiet. Get some paper and a pen and write down a few people in your life now or in the past that have made you upset, hurt, mad, left you, pissed you off, stole from you, ect. Get the idea/ Now for each person you wrote down, write how they screwed up or took you or left you or stole from you or sexually violated you, beat you...You know the deal. Now, after you get all this out on paper take a good look at how each event really affected you. Did "Dad walking out on you at the age of 10" hurt your relationships with others? Hard to commit to a partner? Hurt your self esteem? Have fear of you partner leaving you? Well write it down.
I hope this has helped you. By the grace of God we will finish these steps and live a better life! Now share it with your sponsor!

Your sponsor will try to help but responsibility to complete the steps is yours, alone!
You are the one that will need to live with your decision!

I'm not in AA so I have to ask. Is that the one where you take a moral inventory?
If my alcoholic husband were to join AA I would hope that part of his inventory would include how he lies to get his way when it comes to drinking.
