My daughter was diagnosed with pcos when she was 15. The symptoms were very irregular periods, hair loss, facial hair, acne and elevated testosterone levels. However symptoms may and will vary with the individual.

If you have any concerns visit you doctor to discuss it with him/her.

Excessive body hair not just isolated to the facial area. Irregular periods that can be very painful. Infertility problems. Acne - not just on the face. Being overweight or having a tendency to gain weight quickly. Excessive mood swings and lethargy.

All can be helped by a change of diet - a low fat, high fibre one..... it will lower your blood sugars which effects the insulin in your body which affects all of the above.

Well thats what my consultant claims.......!

A friend of mine has this. Her doc says that it can lead 2 diabetes and is hereditory although her mum didn't have it. You will probably feel tired
