What a coincidence! You know, back in the '70s, a fellow named John Fogerty and I were hanging around Lodi, California one evening, just about supper time, talking and drinking wine, there were some kids play music and dancing down on the cornor, and I said to him, I said, John, I like it here, you don't need a penny just to hang around. And John said, kinda joking, you know, he said, but, if you've got a nickel, won't you lay your money down.
He wrote a song about that a little later. You may have heard it somewhere.
