Someone asked:
"Where can I find the script for Ocean's 13?"
I answered:
"Up in someone's a** where it was most likely created."
The answer was then deleted for obvious reasons.
But then I posted a question asking for other people's input on this incident, and that question was deleted. Reason: "Profanity"
I've seen much more "profanity" on this site that is much worse than what I said. So here I am again, asking for input.

If some people can't take a bloody joke, they shouldn't be allowed to go on the internet in the first place. Am I right?

There seriously need to be an adult section of this where a warning is displayed, cautioning anyone that is viewing this.

What ever happened to free speech??

Doesn't anyone think that my answer was funny at all? Can anyone be mature enough to laugh at that? I've gotten those types of answers to my questions before, but you don't see me raising a fit over it.

Well, you know why your answer was deleted. More than profanity, it was just being rude, wasn't it? Well, the guy who asked for the information might just have known a bit more than we do - Oceans 11 and Oceans 12; so, the best thing to have done would have been to ignore that question and go to one where we know something about it.

You meant it as a joke and somebody didn't have a sense of humor, well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

"Free Speech" and "Thought" remember?

Ain't that what has all those Courts doing great business?

However, your question asking for inputs being deleted is a violation of your Rights. I think whosoever did that or caused it to be removed is in violation of your Rights.

Insofar as profanity goes, yes, I've seen a lot of it going around here and elsewhere. In fact, profanity has become an idiom today. WTF and the like are common parlance, today. And kids know these terms, so, we need not say Adults only, now.

You have my sympathies, buddy.

Know what it's like to get that. Been there, seen that done that!

I came across a couple of Islamic Fundamentalists misusing this Forum by one asking the question about the "heroic" 9/11 "martyrs" and the other saying they would be "immortal"!? In the Computers and Internet, for crying out !?

And I've lost a lot of very good friends in that tragedy.

So, my reply of how these things would have the whole world going against these people as a Religion, [where not all of them, logically, support these fanatics] and telling them they weren't welcome was deleted and I got a notice for Violation on the grounds of "Inciting Hatred"!?

Now, what were the Fanatics doing, "Promoting Harmony"?!???

Figure it out.

Cheers

reliable question. Yahoo genuinely has a rule that an answer is had to adress the question. occasion: What colour is the sky? answer: i like airplaines. notwithstanding "i like airplanes." isn't, certainly, offensive, it fails to adress the question in a mildly sufficient way. If readers flag it, yahoo has a mechanism which will get rid of your answer or question (sometimes with none approved individual genuinely checking it and pulling the plug on it, I assemble). Flags are a device and you may't flag in case you abuse it and flag inappropriately, menacingly. (i think of it downgrades the fee of a flag whilst it comes from somebody who flags inappropriately). Yahoo's mechanism has a fashion of checking your trend of flagging human beings too. long answer, yet, "i do no longer." is just about the comparable as in simple terms answering somebody's question via typing "hi." certainly, it in all probability attracted various flags. i do no longer understand the two, the call of the track, yet whilst i wanted to respond to, i could have contributed "i'm thinking of elvis and a on line casino for some reason." in spite of incorporates ideas is typically powerful. And that is unlikely i could have been flagged, even however i did no longer quite understand the respond the two.

If I were a Yahoo Answers censor, I would find someone I didn't like and torture them by deleting their questions and answers for no reason; especially someone with the name "sad clown" but with a happy face avatar.
