My choice for the best fabric would actually be a blend of linen and polyester. I have lived in Las Vegas for many years and I know what feels cool here. Cotton and polyester is another good blend for casual wear.

if u r purchasing a suit , all companies have their hot weather lines... any ways here in pakistan the cloth that we use is it self called "tropical", the suit does not wrinkle and is very light go on the website of "lawrencepur" its a big suit company here in pakistan and they have their summer lines....best ov luck

Hands down, linen. Its light and it breathes and its washable. It does wrinkle and need ironing but that is a small price to pay for comfort.

PS...if linen is a bit itchy for you get a linen/cotton blend

Linin, or Proplin (cotton) are both good, seersucker would be another possible choice.
