Is it me or do the Mets fans have no class? When the camera scans the crowd in a stadium I can read the lips of a few or more Mets "fans". I sure wouldnt take my kids to that ball park. A pitcher is bound to have a bad day here and there but you so called fans boo your closer? I also seen a lot of empty seats before the middle of the ninth. In a playoff game?
I will never unserstand it when they boo the best all around player in baseball even if he is on the other team (Pujols). Why dont you boo your second baseman since he has ONE hit. I am sure Cardinal fans will boo Beltran but look at his postseason average. Its all hype.
PONDSCUM
Pay attention the next 3 games.
Go Cardinals.

Dont give me any "tough city" BS.
You can be as tough as you want but you still need class to overcome being a loud mouth moron.

BELTRAN IS ALL HYPE. LOOK AT HIS AVERAGE. His homerun came from a missed location on a pitch in game one. Lucky him. Check out his postseason average.
Now you wanna say it was to "COLD" for the fans so they started leaving early? Sissy azz BS. I never heard such fa^go* azz shi#. Ever watched a Green Bay Packer game? Especially in the PLAYOFFS. METS= PONDSCUM win or lose

Ever wonder why fans are called fans? HUH?! It's because they cheer for their team!!! How dare u say Mets fans have no class. I've been to Shea stadium before and they're not as loud as u say they are. It's the damn postseason so everybody gets excited. Why are u gettin' all personal anyway? U wouldn't wanna take ur kids to Shea? Fine with me and the other 50,000+ fans. Wanna know why the fans booed Pujols last night? Have u read the comments he made about Glavine? I'm sure you'd agree with him but place urself as a Mets fan. How would u feel if, let's say, a Met player make such comment about Weaver or Carpenter? Wouldn't u feel angry? Lastly, wanna know why there were some empty seats last night? It was midnight and people who take the subway to go to the game might wanna leave earlier 'cause it takes forever just to get out of the stadium to the train station and the ride home on the subway ain't exactly short, either. Those people who left early maybe brought their kids with them. Decent parents don't wanna see their kids freezin' their tushy off in the middle of the night.

I think most cities are like that. St. Louis is unique because for the most part the fans give respect to both teams. I recall one season, a player that got switched to another team, while this player was booed when he went and played for the first time on his new team at the stadium of his old team. Yet there was one player who got traded from the cardinals a few seasons back, and the fans all gave him a standing ovulation when his new team came to The old Bush stadium , even though he was playing for another team.

First of all I'm not a Mets fan but you need to get off the caffeine. It's a ball game. People boo more out of respect than anything else. Mets fans wished they had Albert on their team. Fans are the same all over baseball. Every fan likes to think that their team is the best and their fans are the best. That's okay, it's natural to think that way. Don't take it to heart, it's just a game!!

I have been to Shea stadium hundreds of times since I was a little girl. Mets fans are actually pretty quiet and reserved all in all. Do you honestly think in a stadium with 50,000+ people, everyone will say "gosh darn it"? It's the same everywhere.
As far as the empty seats, if you only knew what it's like to get out of the parking areas you would understand. I hardly EVER stay to the end of any game there because it takes hours to get home.

Ever listen to the broadcasters or announcers? New york in any sport is the toughest city to play because of the dedicated loyal fans. And I gaurantee you go to any stadium in any sport, you blow the game you will be booed. Wanna know why there's so many empty seats, mets were losing it's 30 somethign degrees outside chance of snow and takes an hour to leave. Beltran all hype? Gimmie a friggen break did you happen to see the results of game one? BELTRAN hit the homerun that won the game....so hype my big tushy there pal. Next time do your homework before making a stupid post like this and learn some better insult above a 7th grade level unless that's what grade you're in, in that case, kudos. And hate to break it to you, mets in 6.
yea i've seen them, i dont see you out in 30 degree weather, so uit you're whining save it for when the mets win

Sox followers care approximately their group and the sport. Yankees followers care approximately prevailing. Cubs followers fill the park daily even with one hundred+ years of futility. Cardinals attendance is going up or down because of the fact the group does. Mets followers are mythical of their love for his or her group. Phillies followers are 2d purely to Eagles followers in hating each and every thing (keep in mind booing Santa?) vast followers are between the main smart of all baseball followers. they have been straightforward to boo a fielder hitting the incorrect cutoff guy, and applaud a runner who intentionally have been given right into a rundown, to get a run abode. the two have been on the different group. and that they tolerated Candlestick Park for 40 years. Dodger followers have between the terrific stadiums, yet arrive previous due, leave early, spend intense time taking to their buddies, greater intense time fixing their makeup (and we are conversing the two sexes here, human beings), have been straightforward to tug into the parking zone by ability of the 1000's because of the fact they have been doing upkeep on the lights fixtures, and truthfully prefer Twitter to verify what got here approximately on the sport.

I am a cardinals fan , being from Kansas City , Mo. My fav. player is Albert Pujols. I met him once at a funeral I attended. Very nice, so is his wife and children. Alberts wife is my step-dads niece. I hope he takes them to the world series and wins.
