cats are very good communicators. I often listen to his thoughts, he thinks out loud. he says things like mraowowmgaowmrr. usually something like that can be translated as either "I want food" or "I want to go outside". no bull.

If you don't want bull be more specific. No, I cannot LITERALLY listen to Kitty's thoughts. However, I usually have a pretty darn good idea of want hes thinking. He would NEVER win an Emmy for best actor!

Not really. I have tried that for a while -- but his brain works very differently from mine. I can tell when he wants certain things but I think that I'm just reading his body language and little sounds he makes. Bite: pet. Bite: food. Bite: brush. Bite: treat. Bite: throw toy. Bite: chase. See? It's pretty easy to know what he's wanting -- but I'm not so sure that I could do his thoughts (...hey, this girl is wacked. I hate that food. And my itch is on my head not my tail...).
