It's not unfair. It may, at times, APPEAR to be unfair, but in reality, you soon realize--everything happens for a reason. Every situation you take as a curse is really a blessing in disguise. It's not what happens to you in your life, it's how you react to it.

I don't think life is necessarily 'unfair'. If you are religious or not I think God and higher powers give the stronger willed ppl harder paths to help along others that do not have the strengths to see around the same problems or hard experiences that stronger ones have also gone through.

It is sort of like taking the stronger willed person and making them a light house on the troubled persons rocky shore... if that doesn't sound completely crazy.

Maybe someday you are meant to help a person that is going through what you have and has totally broke down because they were not strong enough to hold against their own storm like you were. So you come along to share your own experience and how you found the path to healing to help this person.

Even though in the here and now we do not see the scheme of things, it will all make sense in the long run.

I hope this helps. :)

it depends on how you learn too handle certain things in your life if your alert healthy, and, have(somewhat) of a decent paying job these days, and, have somebody strong enbough too fall back onn(shoulder wise) when the going gets tough, hey things can still be unfair, but life is so compliated these days, lets take a look at certain jobs these days, were probably life is so ridliciouss you have peolpe hirer-- ups) in ofices loking downe at the litle samall fryes on certain job sites for anwers to what in the hel is going on at times and they get payed to sit there and do nothing!! talk about scratching your hair out a times and, basically on any factory job you either train yourself, when you start out dont say absolutely nothing and just walk away after 8 hours, we can see why chinais slowly taking over the jobs left in this country. nobody is, showing the younger workers anything and most of us oldr ones are on our own, too sirt threw tthe problems and the higher up just gawk out the windows, owe herss your pay bye!! all e need is for some snsiblity in this screwed up country life is so unfair, the younger generation is, not being taught the tecgnoligy anymore or new job skill too go with it, i have sen enough bye visiting area plants in one they had 7 supervisors and around 45 employess and in the hour i was there how many supervisors do you think was on this factory fllr(knife factory) floor?? its amazing how anything gets done in this country anymore, and your right life is unfair, this is just one of the many examples of the unfair lifes in this country---

Oh my, who really knows...I've asked myself and others this same question so many times, I always get the same answers; "Its fate", "All things happen for a reason", "Its God's Plan" etc etc etc...blah blah blah, okay so all the horrible things that happen are apparently meant to happen, I'd love to give you the reason but have yet to see a damn good reason as why the sh*t that happens happens. We have no choice but to deal with, try to make the best of it. I like to curse aloud, venting helps lol. I even had someone tell me its "karma" if you do bad, bad happens, if you do good, good happens...this leaves me feeling that in some other life I was a really evil person. But then I look at the love all around me, family etc...and know I must have done some special things in my life to have such amazing people in it.

I hope whatever is bothering you goes away....

Sometimes Life is so Unfair

Life is too short. Life is also not fair.

I got a call late yesterday from one of my two best friends from my old job (the one in Corporate Hell)....that the other best friend's mother died in a car accident Saturday. Due to some construction and changes in lanes in her town, she apparently got confused, got in the wrong lane and headed up I-64. She never would drive on the expressway before, so she must've gotten scared and pulled into a rest stop not far from where she got on 1-64. Apparently when she went to pull out of the rest stop to head for home, she went the wrong way, headlong into oncoming traffic and was hit and killed.

I worked with these two ladies for 15+ years, so we are very close. I am so sad. I wish I could be with her in KY but I can't. I'm going to call her tonight and see how she is. I know she is surrounded with friends and other family...and "L", who called me, said that "M" was doing okay surprisingly. She said the kids (18 yr old son, 14 yr old daughter) were doing okay but really quiet...I ache for "M" because she's been through a lot in her lifetime.....her brother died of a brain aneurysm about 12 years ago...then her dad died on July 5th about 10 years ago, her husband died in bed suddenly a few days before Christmas 2005, and now her her mom dies in a car accident and will be buried on July 5th--the day her dad died.

"L" proceeded to tell me that another of our work friends of many years "P" found out recently that she had breast cancer. She's had one breast removed, and is beginning radiation and chemo. She's preparing to lose all her hair, and "P's" sister has bought her a wig...."L" Said that "P" is being very positive and upbeat which doesn't surprise me--she is a brave, amazing woman. They are positive that with the radiation/chemo that this will go away...I hope and pray...she has a couple kids...and many friends. I miss her dearly too. She was my travel companion on many business trips over the last few years. She's a computer guru and taught me so much. I've always admired her.

I need to get back to KY more often and see these folks! Until then, I'm gonna have to burn up the phone lines and mail cards....I'm not an overly religious person, but I am privately spiritual...and I pray with all my might that things get much better for these two....

Incidentally, I've never received a return call or email from my Neice "H", nor her mom (My Sis-in-Law)...so I guess it was a reaction to "H's" meds that caused this....and she's okay....but it sure would be nice to get a phone call. *sigh*

All of this just makes you realize that life is so short. So precious. So delicate. Like a tiny grain of sand that can be blown away in the wind, in a mili-second. Nothing is sacred, or lasts forever. You need to drop any petty differences with people, need to seize every opportunity to spend time with, or talking to friends and loved ones and let them know how much they mean, how much they've made a difference in your life...let people know you appreciate them and love them....to be kind and gracious, considerate, compassionate, caring and helpful to others....while you still can....Take risks, seize opportunities, try new things, and follow your dreams.....make the most of every moment you have...

U may feel that ur life is miserable, but there are millions of people who may envy your life. Remember, there are always people who are more miserable than us. Imagine if everyone live exactly the same life as each other. What kind of world will that be? They must be 'downs' for us to appreciate the 'ups'.

That is the way life is. We all have our own paths to take, some get it easy and some have to work for it which in turns us to better appreciate the value of things and makes a more determined to what life has in store for us.

if life was easy and cruisy all the time what would we strive for? i agree, life is a total b*** sometimes, but on the other hand it's a wonderful gift that you are given and it's up to you to make the best of it, even in a bad situation. :o)

you said it.. sometimes.

I feel like that sometimes too. well if you are a kid you might be thinking "Why does mom care for my brother more" or "Why won't dad get me that toy?"

Well..Your parents might have difficulty buying you a toy or a game that you love. they moght have not enough money. They may not tell you that cause the love you. They don't want you to worry. Same goes if you are a adult..

If you ever feel unfair, pray to God.

Hope this helps (:
