Who does this girl live with? Where are her parents? We really need more information to give a good answer. It is really different in every state. I think you are a good cousin/friend for helping her through this! If either of you needs someone to talk to, you can instant message me or email me. my screen name is angels_among_us7777. Email address is the same @ yahoo.com. Good luck

I had my son at 16 and no parents have to sign anything it's not their child it's hers. No one has to do the paper work for her they will give it all to her after she delivers and is ready to go home. The only thing the docs need to know is if she is allergic to any meds and if she is on any.

Last time i checked, parents do not do the paper work, she does. And when she goest to her OB/GYN this will all be explained to her. If it makes her feel better you can go with her. But everything is her say so, not the parents. Regardless of age.

Well her having a baby means she is no longer a dependent. Therefore she doesn't need anyone to sign for her. However, she should still have a guardian.

I believed she should have a guardian. Leave her to her guardian to handle it..
