I need some suggestions. Im throwing a baby shower for my friend its her second baby, a little girl, what are some games or entertainment we could do, good food, any decorative ideas? thanks!

Simple food like little diff types of sandwiches. and chips and dips in cute bowls. Layer your sandwiches cut in little squares and in a circular rotation on the plate. Get a fondue of chocolate with fresh fruit cut and layered on a plate also put a pick through them for sanitary reasons. At my friends BS we used the fruit and let the fondue run chocolate on it. We played games like get a bag and pass it around and let everybody try to guess how many diapers are in it whoever guesses or gets close gets a small gift. Simple things not having to be expensive at all. Good Luck Be creative. Take pictures and camcorder the event for memory sake.

Even though you know it's a girl, don't go all pink, try soft, pastel colors. If there's a Party City and Babies R Us near you, they're the best places for decorations ("Precious Moments" is a great example). Books and magazines have great food ideas, although a barbecue never fails. Or try a potluck, ask guests to bring their favorite party dish. I don't really know that many baby shower games, although I heard that a popular one was placing food items that have a scent in disposable diapers with numbers on them, blindfolding guests and have them smell inside the diapers, then write down what they think each one has and whoever gets the most correct guesses is the winner.

freeze little plastic babies in little plastic shot glasses.....pass them out to your guests at the beginning of the shower and tell them that when the ice is completely melted to yell out "my water just broke" and they get a prize. We just played this game at my shower last weekend and everyone loved it!!! you can buy the babies and shot glasses at party city or anywhere that sells party favors. Just make sure to freeze them the day of the shower, (like the morning of) because the plastic shot glasses will crack if they are frozen for too long. Hope that helps.

You can melt candy bars in diapers and have your guests guess which candy bar is in each diaper. I saw it played on the Girls Next Door.

keep the food simple....all cold except for one hot item..that way you can do all the prep before the party, not during.
