Prnt Scrn (present in top-right corner of keyboard) is used to capture the screen exactly as it is. Then, any program like MS Word or Paint can be used to paste(Ctrl + V) the screen shot.

Hold down the Alt key then press PrtSc to capture the screen, then open the Paint program then Edit-->Paste the captured screen into the program. Now you can save it as bmp or other image formats.

Click on the "Print Sceen" key.
It's located to the right of the F12 key and above the "Insert" key.
Then, Ctrl+v (paste) it into Paint.

uhm u can take any shots by pressing prtsrn on the keyboard then after that, go to paint and click on one of the button with dotted lines forming a square and then right click and paste then u got it :)

CTRL-ALT-PRT SCR
at the same time.......
then open paint program and click on screen then
CTRL-V
works like a charm :)

you might need to use some freeware or software...I usually just use my digital cam an take a pic...I know its cheating but sue me...
