Anyone know how to actually win? I doubt its just luck. I mean I keep getting the same pieces it seems like. And I only need like 1 more piece for 5,000 one more for 1,000 one more for 50.. and of course one more for 1,000,000. Do you all think the winning pieces are spread out in different states and junk?

The Monopoly game at McDonald's has been my favorite since it was first introduced 20 years ago. (I was 5.) I remember squealing with delight when I got a new property.
Each of the different sets of properties has one rare piece which is all but impossible to find. The others are all very common.
This year's game incorporates a new element--the online game. This is awesome. The codes on your playing pieces allow you to roll the dice online for another chance at an instant win prize or a collect-the-properties prize. I won 25 free photos from snapfish.com. Woo!

I think it is set up so there are just one piece needed in every category. Usually they are divied out randomly to many places.
I remember one time a few years back that someone got the winning million dollar piece real early on like in the first week and they gave it all to a charity... I don't know about this game.
I don't go to McDs as much as I once did.

I guess you guys aren't old enough to remember the last time MickyD's brought out this game. The company responsible for the game pieces rigged it so only friends and family won the big prizes. people even advertised in the paper for pieces they needed - willing to share in the prize. Use the internet and craigslist.com to see if yu can make similar deals.

Ah yes. The annual McDuh`s promotional scam to get people to take the screaming crumb munches to their establishment just to fill thier faces with fats, sugar and preservatives. And peope wonder why their kids are obese. Take your $2 you spend on the happy meal, and spend it on the lotto. The odds are better and if you loose, at least the money will towards education.(Well part of it)

I think it is a way for McD's to make alot of $--with the magic lure of YOU (not) making any. But you will have great fries, extra pounds, and expanded McD's financial situation substantially!!
