i like swing shift, Im a night owl so i stay up really late, which of course means that I have a problem getting up early in the morning. I just cant function. So swing shift is the ideal for me. I go in at 2pm and get out at 10:30pm I like to go out late when I go out so if i go anywhere i just go after work and its all good! Im a receptionist at a hotel by the airport, we're busy all the time

I just got a job at a womens clothing store. dont know what shift i work yet..would either be 1st or second. I used to do customer service and sales for a huge online company. they were 24 hours so i worked holidays (double pay) and worked the night shift. 3pm to 2 am and towards the end i was pulling tons of OT (14-16 hour days 6 days a week). THAT is what killed me hehe...then we all got layed off. i like night or second shift. Im a night person.

I work from 8pm to 6:30 am. I prefer this because there's no traffic coming and going from work most of the time. There's only 1 to 4 other people here with me in the office (avoids a lot of drama), and when I'm not working, I keep the same schedule so I can get things done at home over night without the family distracting me. My time with my kids is from 2:30 pm to 7pm. I work a help desk for an international company. Because of the hours, most people are calling from Hawaii.

I work second. I would not be good at first as I am not a morning person. I like having the morning to get things done at whatever pace I choose. I like working second because the shift differential is 7%. I work in a hospital as a hospitality representative

I work 11:30am to 7pm (don't know the shift name or number) and I like it because I can sleep in and I don't work too late so I can still go out with friends at night. I do inbound sales for a large national bank. Very easy stuff.

I work 12hr shift. Days, nights, weekends and holidays for a chemical plant that runs 24/7. I prefer nights beacause I'm natually a night person, the day bosses are gone and the atmosphere is more relaxed.
I work in a quality control laboratory.

i work at kfc from 4pm till closing and i like that because i can sleep in, and do things that need to be done in the middle of the day

I prefer days; 7a - 3:30p.
I work swing; 3:30p - midnight. I'm a machinist.
What I would REALLY prefer is retirement.
