I've noticed that in more than one of adams movies that he has characters (with red hair) with the last name O'Doyle. I was wondering if he makes references to this O'Doyle person in movies other than Billy Madison and Click. I am also wondering if he maybe has/had a beef with someone named O'Doyle. Anyone know?

If you notice he uses a lot of the same characters in a lot of his movies. Like the "You can do it" guy. I think it is just an Adam Sandler thing.

From watching Billy Madison, it seems "O'Doyle" is to represent the ignorant rebel moron character of not just movie cliches but also real life... maybe it's of someone from his childhood? Ya never know the way people/things are referenced these days.

It's NOT true. It's about a guy who lost his wife and daughters in the 9/11 tragedy and his renewed friendship with a buddy from school.
