I don't think he needs a nickname. Kobe sounds good enough. Im trying to think of one but nothing. Even on play by plays they refer to him as Kobe, not Bryant. There you go, i remember stu referring to him as The Dagger, but Kobe still sounds better.

Kobe's nickname is "Black Mamba," inspired by the movie "Kill Bill" for Uma Thurman's codename. I'm almost positive this nickname was first coined by Bill Simmons, or "The Sports Guy" of espn.com.
And... it's a pretty cool name actually: "Mamba" for short... they reference this on NBA The Life 07 commercials.

Kobe's nickname use to be Showbe back when he had an Afro. Kobe doesn't really have one because his real name is unique. He's a black guy with a japanese name. You can call him the Black Mamba but Kobe just sounds better.

He already has a nickname "the Black Mamba". I think it;s because how he kills on the court because the balck mamba is an African snake thats one of the most dangerous in the world.
