Is it considered "normal" to listen to an artist of your own sex? Seriously, think about it...

the gender of the singer has nothing to do with who i listen to...it makes no difference to me.

i rarely listen to music artists of the same sex. I think there are about 3 that i even like. I just prefer male music artists the women artists, and i have no clue why either.

Actually, I tend to listen to the opposite sex more than a female artist.

I do have a tendency to listen to artist of the sex, but I do have favorites of the opposite sex and listen to them every once in awhile.

I love to listen to male artists more than I do woman.
I just love a man's voice. Now, nothing against
my sex, I have several female artists I love, but
a male singer makes me warm all over, a female
singer, never ever will....lol

That's an interesting question and a good point. But...I love lots of music, and I listen to female artists a lot........oh hell you know all this stuff, I'm just answering ya! Who cares what's "normal"? I listen to whatever moves me.....

I listen to any artist who is passionate and sincere about their music. Their gender makes no difference, only their love for their art.
