I hate to say it but I agree with you. I enjoy watching football but I could certainly do without the women commentators. They don't seem natural to me, like they have to fake their enthusiasm and are reading off of note cards the whole time.

Well I played football at my high school, I was the center. Does that still make me a moron when it comes to football? Some women love the game, I love the game and I know what I am talking about so why is that a problem? Unless you just have a problem with women altogether, and you sound racist! Some of us do know more then men, get over yourself!!

Come on, the majority of football broadcasters never played football beyond high school, or at all! They went to journalism school.
Pam Ward on ESPN does a good play by play job on college football.

I totally disagree with you. I'd rather see and hear a savvy woman like Michelle Tafoya than one of the male idiots you often see as sideline reporters. Granted that the woman on Sunday Night Football with Madden and Michaels wears much too much makeup and is fairly inexperienced, but many of the women are very knowledgeable and know the questions to ask.
Keep an open mind!

As you need to have guessed from the solutions above we do broadcast soccer in this united states, yet as quickly as we are saying soccer we advise soccer interior the English sense of the be conscious, i.e. what you're able to call soccer. We call what you call soccer 'American soccer'. so some distance as i'm conscious we don't mechanically broadcast American soccer fits. that's not that ordinary outdoors of North usa and so there isn't any could desire to. i think of between the imprecise satellite tv for pc channels could teach the superbowl yet that's approximately it.

Your an idiot that needs to realize that women actually like sports, including football, too. I'm a girl and I know practically everything about football even if I haven't ever played. Maybe you're sexist or something but whatever get a life and realize some women actually know the sport of football.

All the male football commentators have moved into other more interesting fields, such as womens beach voleyball, mud wrestling and topless darts.

I am from the South and in SEC country most women fans know their football...so I guess its possible to be knowledgeable about the game and not ever played it.

HMM, jealous?? Maybe you applied for the position and had misspellings like you did here. OR, it could be that most commentators have NEVER even played football. If you can't play...maybe you report, who knows. How can a physician deliver a baby....when he has NEVER given birth?? Geez, life's little questions.

I agree. But I'll pause to check out a hottie on the sidelines.
Plus-Tommy Bowden just plain sucks. Someone needs to fire his rear end or at least shut it up.
