I have registry cleaned, my firewall is up...I have rebooted...everything short of a re-format. It started this morning, he shows up every few minutes. What can I do about this hacker?

put a password on this and none can get in
you can lock the yahoo messenger from login in till you enter the password on the firewall and you can lock the explorer & firefox you can even lock the pc with this 1 password set up and none get to use the pc with put putting in the password to this first

Sorry to inform you of this but i had the same problem from a screen name of: loveth42k7 from africa as soon as I quit talking to her she spammed my yahoo messenger and msn messenger and pissed off all my friends so then I have all kinds of spam pop ups as well I had to chose to lose everything I had and just reformatted the hard drive and lost everything I had
but my advise is this write down all email addresses and any favorites you have and any imortant stuff save to a disk or burn to a cd so you have it after you do a format of your hard drive
it is a hard dissition but you just might have to do it (good Luck ) !!! P.S. Then redownload your firewall and then go to www.xoftspy.com and download that and then go to www.avast.com and download that I hope I was able to help you

uninstall the program, leave it off for a week or so until he thinks your gone then re install it.

first, which IM client are you using? (YIM? AIM? MSN?) and when you say he shows up every few minutes, what do you mean?
