A yellow smiley face in Yahoo Messenger or in their Yahoo profile means they're online.

BUT keep in mind that they could appear offline even when they're on (Invisible), or they could be hiding just from you (Stealth settings).

If they are invisible or you think they are, you can open up their profile and see if the smilely face light is on. Then you'll know they are online.

Also, if you IM them and it doesn't say that this person appears to be offline even though it looks like they are, then they are hiding from ya. Just leave it alone, leave 'em a message and move on.

some peopele like to signin invisibly an some not ..

it a person signs in normally u will c da smily face wid his name else will not be so..

if a person has signed in invisibly n u want to know which person is online just open ur mail id of yahoo n go to address n u will c who is online n who is not online.. :)

to find out who is on line check the listed on the yahoo messenger ......if the smile face is lit up they are on line,but if they are use invisible you can not messenger but if you are using 360 and they said to let their friends, you can see the lit up smile face by their name

If they show "off line", they dont want to talk.

If they are on your buddy list they should show up. If they are not, try to add them.
