Whats the best way to make long mp3's to shorter tracks?

I'm sure there are free downloadable apps that will do this, but I use an app I purchased at Best Buy called CakeWalk. It edits MP3's and does a lot more too.

If you're talking about cutting the MP3 into pieces, it's not very hard. I don't know of any MP3 editors, so you would have to convert the song into a WAV file, edit it, and then convert the pieces back to MP3. There are free converters and WAV editors available at www.download.com
