What girl doesn't sweetie....but relief is in site.
Supplies.....Heating pad
Herbal or green teas
Ibuprofen or Midol
BANANAS (2-3 a day)
Water (8-10)glasses everyday always.
Now put it to use.
When you wake up take a really hot bath or shower. For breakfast take the midol or ibuprofen (its your choice) with a green or herbal tea and eat a banana.
Take a short jog or do yoga (physical activity helps to relieve menstrual cramps because your muscles become lose and pain relieving endorphins are released.
For lunch drink water, eat another banana and take more asprin if needed. Take a breather and use the heating pad if you can.
MAKE SURE YOUR STAYING COMPLETELY HYDRATED DURING YOUR CYCLE.
At dinner eat whatever you want, but avoid really spicy foods (i.e. mexican, tai or indians foods)
right before bed plug in the heating pad, drink warm milk or if your not a milk person eat another banana (the potasium helps relieve crampage) and drink sleepy time green tea.
I hope you feel better, period pain is the worst.
Good luck sweetheart.

I don't know about everyone Else, but when i get my period it comes in the middle of the night and it is very painful. I tried everything from taking hot baths to take meds. While they did temporary take away the pain, it was not too much of a help. My doctor had put me on Birth control pills. not only does my period come at the same time of the month, but the pain is manageable and not nearly as bad as it was before. The BC also helped clear my skin of those nasty break outs women get during that time.

Some people find comfort in different ways. I like my pill bottles.
You can use up to 3,200 mg of Ibuprofen & or 4,000 mg of tylenol in 24hrs. I dont suggest using both at the same time 24/7 but if you happen to have very hard periods cramps I would suggest using 600mg motrin & 500mg tylenol together on the 1st dose then alternating at a low dose tylenol & motrin every 6hrs. The 1st high dose will help get in your system & then you can keep your pain level in check.

Using a heating pad will help. Drinking plenty of fluid, use an over the counter drug like Aleve, Tylenol, Midol, Motrin IB, Advil...etc. I've also done the plenty of rest thing all the above help.
