Okay, I'll spoil the end for you....
Yep, Norman IS losing it again, but with the help of the sister of the woman he killed in the first film, (Famous shower scene) and her daughter. His "Mom" is being played in Psycho II by the sister of the murdered woman. Her daughter is the "homeless waif" he took in to help!

Did you know The psycho house is in the movie The Labtynth??you can see it as Jennifer Connelly is running home.
