The baby will come when he/she is ready. There is no need to rush him/her.

Take a walk, have sex, and eat some turkey. I wouldn't try any herbal things without talking to her dr first.
Especially if it's her first baby, going overdue is very, very common. I can't remember the statistic, but it's something like only 4% of babies are actually born on their due date.
My due date was February 1 (originaly Jan. 29), and my son was born on February 10. And I never did go into labor. My doctor decided to induce because the fluid levels were getting low, and I ended up having a c-section.
It's common for doctors to let babies go as much as 2 whole weeks overdue before they induce, as long as things are going okay.
Good luck, and congratulations on the impending birth!

There are no ways to naturally induce. Anything you have heard or read are old wives tales. Most doctors will not let women go past 41 weeks because it is not safe for the baby, since most of the amniotic fluid will be gone and the placenta will no longer be adequate nourishment for the baby. I know how uncomfortable your fiance is--my daughter came at 41 weeks. It really will be over soon. Just be patient, tell her to drink lots of water and take walks because that helps the baby descend lower into the pelvis for faster pushing. Most of the old wives tales won't hurt--but they won't help either.

just wait. Give it time and the baby will come when it's ready. My mom has had 8 children and none of us were induced. One of my sibs was 14 days late. it's all natural, just wait. Also, castor oil is a natural way to get things moving, but it will only work if your Fiance is ready. It is all a very natural process. Good luck!!

A lot of people will tell you to have sex BUT if she has lost her mucus plug, having sex will introduce bacteria into her and could possibly harm the baby.
You could take a walk, or just be patient. My friend was almost 2 weeks overdue. Sometimes the "due date" isn't as accurate as you think. Just give it some time.
Good luck to you and the new family (when he/she gets here)

Having sex is the most natural way to induce labor. She can also do alot of walking. Aside from that... there's not much else you can do unless you get the labor induced by the doctor.

You could try things like a deep hand/foot massage, sex will help too. There is a chemical in semen that helps ripen and soften the cervix for labor.
Red raspberry tea, blue and black cohosh tea could bring on contractions as well.
Good luck!

Walking---may help baby put pressure on the cervix and start dilation.
Sexual intercourse with male ejaculating inside female--semen contains prostoglandins which help cervix ripen and causes uterine contractions.
Nipple stimulation--20min, rest 10, 20 again and continue until contractions are strong and regular--this releases oxytocin which causes uterine contractions.
Good luck!!!

Three days late is NOTHING to worry about. My wife was up to three WEEKS late with our children; and no, we never had labor induced. All three came naturally.
