phillips or norelco are pretty good brands... ;)

My Norelco has paid for itself time-and-again in the 15 years I've owned it. I've only bought blades for it twice. The unique thing about it is that it cuts from the side of the blade, regardless how long the hair is. That means that it doesn't rely on the hair going through a little hole, so the hair can be fairly long and still will cut in one or two swipes.

I recomment Norelco. I have used it for years. Works well, very reliable.

i can't name a particular brand especially (except braun- that one's just come to mind) but i think £20 (or the monetary equivalent elsewhere) is a decent price to invest
