The U.S. cannot politically or economically afford a "war" in North Korea. U. S. troops are presently committed, and over extended, to a "war" in the Middle East. North Korea, and its largest supporter, China, know this. The United States is in the "cross hairs", and China and North Korea know this.

The only hope I see for "world peace" is for England, Russia, the U.S., Germany, Italy, France, Canada, and Mexico to "stand up" and be "counted". Say "NO". Dissolve the UN, an organization that only supports each nation's sovereignty, and not "world peace".

First off the last thing North Korea wants is a war at this time and date If we went to war with North Korea It will no longer remain a sovereign state. And the world is sure N. Korea does not want that to happen......... Nor do I believe that any of N.Korea allies will join N. Korea in it downfall.

No, the reason America wont go to war with North Korea is because Kim ill Jong would lob missiles at South Korea and Japan, and China would get the brunt of refugees from North Korea, and if push comes to shove China will take out Kim ill Jong before they allow America to do it. Fighting North Korea is not a option for America

"SET UP".... North Korea launched Long range missiles on July 4. Then just a few days ago they set of a "half assed" nuclear explosion. After that they threated to launch a nuclear tipped missile if we put sanctions on them... SET UP?????? MY goodness..you must be a European. And no, it will not be anything like Iraq.. because we wont be over there to "SET UP" a new government....WE WILL BE THERE TO DESTROY....And trust me buddy.....we have all the might in the UNIVERSE TO DO IT.. By the way.......Iraq was the easiest and fastest war in WORLD HISTORY....it was over in a month.....what is going on now is a reconstruction of a former terrorist country (under Saddam)....Iraq was a military success and a political failure....DONT EVER DOUBT THE USAF and the PEOPLE OF AMERICA... WE WILL NOT LIVE IN FEAR OF A MAD MAN.......

i'm not fullyyt optimistic what you're concerning here yet in my opinion it quite is definitely user-friendly. look at the form of troops in Iraq whilst in comparison with Afghanistan. Their are plenty greater in Iraq. If the Iraq conflict ends, all those troops come abode. some will then be sent out to Afghanistan. Going by utilising your numbers ( besides the reality that I even have yet to work out something reliable) that's $5,4 hundred,000,000 a month coming abode if the Iraq conflict ends. the quantity of troops mandatory in Afghanistan is a few distance much less then what we mandatory in Iraq. subsequently, much less funds being spent as an entire.

No-Bush will not invade without approval of UN again or all the facts-ita also becoming more apparent the test was a failure-also North Korea has nothing that would be beneficial to the US like the OIl in Iraq

No! We have no interest in North Korea. No oil....also, we are too busy in Iraq. So, how can we fight two countries at the same time? We would definitely have to start the draft again. And the US is hopefully too smart to press the button first. Now, NK...another story. Hopefully, Condi Rice and the other mvp's out of D.C. think think and plan things out very carefully before making any moves. Sanctions are good, though. Let NK suffer big time. But lets stay out of their country.

Oh no.... UN SANCTIONS... oh poor North Korea.... I'll bet they're practically peeing their pampers!!!! Oh the world is now entirely in safe hands!!!!

Do you recall how many UN SANCTIONS Iraq ignored... then when this great organization, this saviour of society fails.... they blame US for doing their job.

People point their fingers at the US and corporations, but there has been no more corrupt entity on the face of the earth than the UN....

Probably not. But it would be ironic if the US went to war with the theory the test was a fake or a fizzle, and the war went badly because North Korea did have nukes.

only in self defence. NK will invade sooner or later, then we fidght, end up nuclear. Be a big BOOM, not a good thing. It will happen but the US will not cause it. Personally I think we should just turn NK into a giant self lighting glass parking lot. So its a good thing I am not in charge
