23+21 = 44
26+7 = 33
12+10 = 22
9+2 = 11

B If you write each letter in each pair as its numerical equivalent in the alphabet and then add them, you get:
23+ 21=44
26+7=33
12+10=22
The next term is, logically, 11 and since I=9, the missing term is2 or B

C belongs there because WU = 3 letters back ZG=20 letters between and LJ = 3 letters between and IC = 20 letters between

Missing letter I think is P because it goes w - u you are going backwards 3, z - G you are going forward 7, and l - j you are going backwards 3 so I to P is forward 7. That is why I think it is a P

The missing letter is P. The pattern is two before, seven after, two before, 7 after.

She did not say the different way up AND backwards...... there are some precise asnswers.... here is one.
