Not that abnormal, if she doesn't eat for 6 hours or more during the day call her doc, good luck. PS- Some newborns are reluctant eaters, both of mine were & they nursed until 2 years old & healthy & happy. She will eat when hungrey, you real "milk" prob just came in a few days ago so going from a feeding of culustrum is about 2 tbl sppons per hour of sucking to 4 oz. per hour can take a adj.

at about 10 days, some babies get nursing jaundice.
All of my kids did this. I think my breasts nearly exploded by the end of the day with my second one.
I panicked with her and really, I didn't need to.
What you do is this: if her skin seems yellow to you, don't worry. If the whites of her eyes get yellow, take her in to the hospital immediately. I don't think that will happen, however. Just take off all the baby's clothes and set her in the sun for a few minutes on each side. (I put my baby on the couch with plenty of pillows all around, because the afternoon sun was right in that area) It worked like magic.
What's happening is the baby's belyruben is breaking down in her/his blood and the baby has to get rid of it.

in case you carry her many of the time and continually giving her cuddles, i think of she could only be used to you and trusts you alot. I easily have a cat who does not even %. up her kittens by way of the neck- she does not even pass them far off from us! She let us know she develop into having the babes besides, and enable us to help her and all, and now leaves us to shelter her kittens on a similar time as she runs around chassing mice or does despite she does in the time of the day, has never hidden the bubs or something. i think how my grandparents could have felt lol yet I easily have 5 to shelter! we expect of it ought to be coz while she develop right into a kitten(mumma cat this is) we picked her up by way of her neck(attempting to place in a feeling of we are the father and mom, she's the youngster form of element, appearing like father and mom somewhat) and taken care of her like our little one and so she knows we in ordinary terms want the terrific for her kitties, yet each and every thing i've got study queen cats has been that they are inner maximum and secluded yada yada yada and that i could say your hamster is doing the comparable. And if hamsters are something like g/pigs(does no longer understand, never owned a hamster formerly) the mummy pig never/hardly eats their babies after human beings carry them, and our sows have continually taken their babies back, we've had to assist some litters, too, and the mummy has never rejected them... yet they could be completly diverse animals. ought to very nicely be real, with exceptions to the rule of thumb! yet happy she did no longer consume the little one, that ought to have been unhappy.

Put her to bed... and wait untill she wakes up and cries for it... not trying to be ignorant.. but thats you're only chance... dont lose sleep over it... when they're 2 or 3 weeks old their stomach is only about the size of a golfball or two. so be patient! you'll turn out to be a good mom!

If this is the first time that you have had troubles feeding then she isn't hungry BUT if she is crying all the time and doesn't sleep then you need to talk to a doctor, she may need to go on the bottle.

First of all is this your first child? Second, don't stress. Relax, and enjoy your baby. She will let you know when she is hungry. She will also let you know when she is full, wet, poopy, tired, wants to play, or just wants her mommy. You will soon get to know all of these cries. However, if she misses more than two feedings, or is not producing urine than definitely call your pediatrician.
