I have had seven surgeries and will have another one soon. The problem is that this new scar will go down my belly because I need a long incision. The other scars go from side to side. What would you do if you see somebody with so many scars? Would you feel repulsion? I am alive, yes!!!! but I feel so unattractive. Don't insult me telling me that I should appreciate that I am alive. I know! but deep in your heart you know that I am far from good looking.

I would think that you're one tough cookie for going through all that! It must be very difficult, both physically and emotionally, and I admire your strength.
As the scars really bother you, perhaps you could try Mederma to help make them less noticeable. It works pretty well, especially on newer scars (I used it after a surgery, and while I still have a scar, it is not as noticeable as it could have been).
Good luck, and keep fighting!

It is very common for someone with multiple surgeries to have problems with their scars. Ask your doctor for a prescription medication (it is a cream) that helps with the scars.

Only you say you're not good looking. I have several scars from suregeries as well. I still wear a two-piece swimsuit. No one comments about it and I look at it as it's just they way I am. Your scars are just the way you are too. They are "souveniers" of what you had to do.
