I am applying for a job and the application asks for 3 letters of reference, can I include more? Should I?

I have gotten 4 letters of recommendation that are all really good and I don't know what 3 to choose. The position description does say spectifically 3 letter of reference. Should I just try to find the best letters or should I send all 4?

I recomend only sending three, from what I've experienced employers don't appreciate you doing anything other than what they ask during the hiring process. (even if its a positive thing). As far as choosing the 3, try picking the ones from people that most closely relate to the job you are trying to get. By sending 4 it may look like your trying too hard. maximum in all probability your professional reference (employment verification) could come from the temp organization - technically the organization is your small business. you may checklist your supervisor as a professional reference on purposes and ask for a letter of advice if his or her corporation enables their workers to furnish references. i would not deliver the letter of advice with the resume or application yet point out on your resume that's obtainable upon request and produce a replica of the letter for head to head interviews in which you would be able to hand the interviewer a replica alongside which includes your resume. i could propose a million - 2 references. extra desirable than which could be overkill. the advice could desire to be no extra desirable than a million web site, in corporation letter format.
