The doctor will order several tests like FBS(Fasting Blood Sugar) which should have a result in the range of 60 -110 and HBA1C which should not be greater than 6.

Your doctor may ask for OGTT which is Oral Glucose Tolerance Test. They will extract blood from you first then ask you to drink a sweet orange stuff then take your sugar level after one hour. They will again ask you to drink the sweet stuff then take your blood sugar again after an hour. Then after that test they will declare if you are diabetic or not.

I pray that your result will be negative.

Good day!

they check a fasting blood sugar- which means that you can't eat after midnight the day before the test. If it is high- they usually check a hemaglobin A1C to see if that is elevated as well. They usually check your urine too.
