how long do i have to be on the pill before i dont need condoms???

they say 2 weeks on my pack, but i would give it a month, just in case

Common sense says that you always use a condom, unless its your husband or someone who is not playing the field. See, the BCP's can help protect your from pregnancy, but not an STD so, use a condom, be smart.
The pill will start protecting you about halfway through the first pack. The problem is, at its best, only 97% effective so there is about a 3% chance of becoming pregnant.

You still need condoms to prevent the spread of STD's! Regardless if you and your partner are "clean" now, there could be something dormant just waiting to come out. It's better to be safe than sorry. It doesn't matter how long you've been together either. Same man over 10 years, still use both.

Three months before the pill takes full effect. I would use condoms everytime though. Better safe than mommy!!

You have to go through at least one pack and have your period. If you're not in a commited relationship you should always use condoms. The pill doesn't protect against HIV/AIDS and other STD's

my boyfriend go 7 days with condoms and then he can come inside me. i've been on the pill for almost 7 months and i havent gotten pregnant :D

I would deffinalty say always use a condom.Birth control does not always work.not to mention STDs!!! If you are with a man you trust then condoms are not always wanted.But please protect yourself.
