My friend is 14 this year and his partner is 15. They are still studying... They did it willingly and without realising the consequences. Now they are asking what are the charges for an underage sex as they guy wants to own up.

Hi,
As of my knowledge, "rape" is commited when a man have carnal intercourse with a women, with or without her consent when she is under the age of 14.That is with reference to Cap. 224, Sec 376.
The punishment for rape is imprisonment for a term which may extend to 20 years and shall be liable to fine or caning. To confirm the details visit the site which i've stated below.
Sorry i almost forget. Let me inform this to you also . My friend pointed out to me. Based on what i've learnt, if the women is below 12 you'll be charged for 376,cap 224 but if the women is below 16, you'll be charged for 140(1)(i), cap 353.

There would be no crime in this case. At least not in the states, in Singapore, I would highly doubt it.
If it had been a crime such as a 22 yr old and a 15 yr old, it is generically called Statutory Rape, although different states may have it listed differently as far as how tha actual statute reads.

Most laws pertain to underage sex when a partner is more than two years older than the other. Because there is only 1 yr age different I don't think there is any wrong doing.

It is called statutory rape but can also be called other things just look at the sex offender database usually 7 to 20 years or more, and I am glad it is that long, gives em time to think about how sick they are. And then they get their pic, address and personal info up for all the world to see forever.

Unless the girl, who appears to be the older of the two is pregnant, they should probably not say anything until they know exactly what might happen to them.

there both minors experimenting with sex & will not be subjuct to adult laws. As long as there both concenting the only problem will be the parents who can push into juvinal cort.

look at your state government website and look up the
'official code of the state of xxxx"
then type in a search window "age of consent"
that should give you some details.
