this is great for couples-
a pair of dice. Get 2 large square boxes. Paint them white or cover with white cloth. Using a real pair of dice for an example, apply the black spots cut from paper or cloth. You need a hole big enough for your head, and 2 holes for arms.
Since you are black and white it would be cute to go as salt and pepper shakers also. Perhaps a seamstress could make a pattern.

Raggedy Ann and Andy. Simple sewing. Easy to make red yarn wigs. Not sure about the striped tights, though!
My parents won grand prize at a fundraiser in New Orleans for their costumes. Too cute.

*Greek or Roman Gods (togas and leaf head dresses)
*King Tut and his wife Anaksunamun (white kilt for you, white dress for your wife, and you could easily make broad collars out of cardboard, and the make up would be easy to do)
*Desdimona and Othello (Renaissance costumes, might be a bit tough to make in short time)
*Adam and Eve (fig leafs over flesh-colored clothes)

The dice idea of dice is cute.... and the togas can be done with a pair of sheets. You could also go as Sonny and Cher.
