I am not a racist and while there's a the good and the bad in EVERY bunch, it's not a reason to hate an entire group of people. I, however, DO live in SOUTH TEXAS about an hour from the Mexican border...let me tell you some of the things I DON'T like about the hispanic heritage:

1) In today's paper they ran a full page on ad on Hispanic Heritage Month, yet refused to mention some of the more famous issues this month such as that it's also Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month...what do YOU feel is more important?

2) That in my town, the whole city takes a day off for "Fiesta" yet , we still have class and go to work on Veterans Day..again, where are the priorities?

3) We have a Mexican restaurant on EVERY corner. Is all that really necessary?

4) I do NOT want to hear you and your drunken buddies on a truck tailgate "singing" Tejano music in the apartment complex parking lot at 3am.

5) I don't like having to give up my seat on public transportation because you have 8 children tagging along behind you.

6) Also in our newspaper, someone got busted for smuggling nearly 55 illegal immigrants in 3 rooms in a "stash house".

7) I do NOT like being "underemployed" because I'm not BILINGUAL.

8) How we have scholarships at my college for single, Hispanic mothers who have a million children, yet nothing for single, white pre-med and science majors.

but what i don't like is that when i type in "MEXICANS" for the
SEARCH FOR QUESTION:
rude questions always appear about mexicans being illegals in the US, and how they shold be banned from the US, and how they should speak english if they're going to live here.
it makes me so furious that peope are hating on mexicans....it's the horrible media's fault for portraying mexicans as bad people...when in fact, the people that hate mexicans, most likely don't even KNOW a mexican, they've probably never even really talked to one before.

Some of my favorite people are Mexicans, my son in law for one, and my beautiful little granddaughter, she's gorgeous.....now, as far as the racial question goes, yes... I do like Mexicans as well as African Americans, Indians, and Chinese... along with all other ethnic groups... I love all people and do not judge, like or dislike them due to their culture. It is the people individually who we learn to like, dislike, love or hate... It is not fair or honest to judge anyone's ethnic group and that kind of racism is just what brings us trouble in our cities, towns, and our country. I would love to see an end to all racism, hatred, and violence between the cutures in our world. We are so caught up with fear of others because of their differences, and the unknown, so we need to get to know each other and learn about each other. We could all use some kind of education and moral values to help each other learn about the different cultures. When I see someone say they don't like this person because of their skin color, or ethnic background, it makes me sick at heart. I was growing up in the 60's and had some of this kind of problem in my neighborhood. I was beaten up at recess by a girl who didn't like the names that her family was called by some of my brothers... and she took it out on me... There are good and bad people in all races, there are some really sweet, kind, loving and hard working people who are from Mexico and other countries that hold down three jobs just to make a living for their families. Some other people are not as hard working or loving, caring & don't care much about life, families or anyone around them! It's all an individual thing, not a racial thing. I think we should just love everyone no matter what and we'd all be much happier! ;0)

I see no reason to have a problem with Mexicans, so yes I like them. Should I dislike them because they have done some unpleasant things? Shoot, then I guess I shouldn't like the whites, blacks, asians, indians, or anyone else. Geez I guess I can't even like myself. It would be so stupid to dislike an entire race because there are bad seeds in it. There are bad seeds in every race.

Thats a stupid question, Im mexican-american and Im as american as anyone here. Some stupid people feel uncomfortable when we talk in spanish, Where I live its something natural, spanglish. I recommend to people like yourself, feeling "Left out" to learn spanish, and open a new world you live in. Boba

Honestly i have found hispanic ladies to be very attractive. Its what is inside that is most important not to judge someone for whats outside.
