Aight I'm 21yrs old, my dad got me into Buffett's music and now I'm a total Parrothead. The problem is that hardly NOBODY my age really knows anymore of his songs other than Margaritaville. Just cause I'm bored, how many young Parrotheads are there out there? Young as like 20's or younger. An if your gonna say something like "What 30 is old?" the answer is yes! But just live by the Parrothead law, Grow older but not up! I stopped at 21...wonder why?

Newsflash! I'm in my 20's and love Jimmy Buffett...have almost all of his albums and all that junk. But most people just listen to the crap that's on the radio and have no idea what really good music is. I listen to some stuff on there, but Buffett, the Eagles, Steve Miller, all of them that have been around since before I was even born...those are the awesome bands...Good luck on your search! BTW, did you hear about Buffett getting stopped in France with Ectasy and the cops taking 20 pills of it and giving him the rest back with a small fine? Freakin' hilarious!

I know at the University of Alabama Jimmy Buffett is a pretty big deal! His sisters restaurant is in Gulf Shores, AL (LULU'S) It is FUN! He has several restaurants...I have visited the one in New Orleans and Orlando! I'm 20! So no...it's cool to be a parrothead! (LOL)
I stepped on a pop top......and blew out my flip-flop! Wasted away again in Margaritaville!!! IT WILL ALWAYS BE A CLASSIC!

Yeah I love Jimmy Buffet and have been to many Margaritavilles, I mean all over but no I am not 20's I am older than that.

My parents have had me listening to Buffett since I was in utero. People like to think of the cheesy stuff like the big stage shows and the party songs, but many don't realize that he is a profound lyricist. My personal favorite albums are "Havana Daydreamin", "Son of a Son of a Sailor" and "A White Sportcoat and a Pink Crustacean".

My son is 14 and he likes the music very much. Looking at iTunes today, his new album is the second most popular one this week.
I think it is fair to say you are not alone among folks your age.
