I found these for getting them out of clothing, but you should be able to use them for your carpet too:

Lay the stained area on top of a clean dry white towel. Apply rubbing alcohol to the ink stain and blot with another clean white cloth, removing the stain as you blot. Rinse thoroughly.

Lay the stained area on top of a clean dry white towel. Apply nail polish remover to the ink stain and blot with another clean white cloth, removing the stain as you blot. Rinse thoroughly.

Apply your normal liquid laundry detergent onto the ink stain and allow the garment to sit for 3-5 minutes.

Wash in the warmest water that the fabric can tolerate.

Before drying, double check to make sure the stain was removed. If not, repeat the previous steps until it is.

NOTE: You might want to test the rubbing alcohol and nail polish in an inconspicuous spot.

I've used aerosol hairspray to remove ink from clothing. I spray the hairspray directly on the ink at about 3" from the stain. The ink will transfer directly to the paper towel I'm holding underneath the stain. If the stain doesn't transfer underneath the carpet onto the padding, you may be able to blot it out gradually.

Apply lukewarm glycerine to the stain. You can buy glycerine at the drug store. Tamp the stain with a brush or spoon. Tap the brush or spoon on the stained area vigorously. While tamping, blot frequently by pressing hard on stain with paper towel. It is important to remove the loosened stain immediately. Keep stain moist with glycerine and continue tamping as long as the stain is being removed. If stain remains, apply a solution of 1 tsp mild dish detergent, a few drops of ammonia and 1 cup warm water. Tamp. Then flush with water.

If any stain remains, you might use a non-chlorine bleach such as Clorox2.

Resolve Carpet Cleaner in spray bottles works too.

Dear Anna Nichole,
Dye your carpet red. It will then go well with your flaming lips pictures and padded headboard. I'm sure you have about a hundred pillows and a black light or two as well. Pink Carpet? Nice

Hair spray. Get a pump bottle, so you can take off the top and pour a bit on. It works, believe it or not. Then, clean it with a carpet cleaner. "Resolve" works well.
