Perhaps you have something that could change this country for the better. I know that most of American voters are moderates and not extremest in their political views. It just appear that right now; you are either one or the other. There are attributes of both major parties and the minors, that I appreciate. Why can voters get behind a third party and elevate it to the status of the GOP and Democrats. In fact; with so many people unhappy with both major parties; why aren't the Independents, Green Party, Libertarian, or others stepping up?

That is what is needed. But it's not working very well for me so far. I joined the Libertarian party a few years ago. I quit paying dues because the Libertarians don't believe we should defend ourselves.

I rejoined this year. I can't change the party if I'm not involved. The Republicans are too much of a busy body party. They want to legislate stuff that the government should stay out of.

The Democrats are nothing but a collection of socialist and communist.

At least the Libertarians offer a consistent message. Although I think freedom is worth fighting for. Apparently the libertarian bosses don't.

I think you are absolutely right except it dosent go far enough, we need several different parties, so we will be given our choice of representation, 1st, do away with political parties such as the Dem"s and Rep's to prevent them from organizing a monopoly, make the requirements so more people can run for office local and nation wide, impose limits on how much can be spent on campaign ads etc,so there is a level playing field, every candidate should be given equal amounts for advertising , this would prevent large corporations and organizations from contributing to both Dem's and Reps and controlling either one who is elected
please see http'//wwwrense,com/general58/suspre.ht this is a very informative site, and this has been around since the early 50s and has had lots of real info, the American people must realize they are ultimately responsible for their votes and who is elected. and stop whining about how our politicians sell us out they should check out their candidates voting record, not what the say on T,V, as they are all liars and will sell their votes for the highest dollar, but, by changing the election rules it would help stifle the lobbyists power to buy votes

No joke. Not the libertarians though, they are Republicans under a different name. I say the Pirate Party. With three branches of government we need at least three major parties.

If we can't get a 3rd major party, then we should limit the amount of campaigning a politician can do. We should also limit terms to 4 years. Too much time is wasted on getting re-elected. THat's all our politicians care about is being reelected.

Plus this would make it harder for lobbyist to get into politicians pockets. We also need to get rid of the electorial vote.

I would be ok with 3 or more parties. However, they have to be VIABLE parties, not just spoilers for one party or the other. For instance a Libertarian Party may take away more from Republican party than Democrat. At the same time a Socialist Party (which I would love) would take away more from Dems than Republicans (which I would hate).

We need an "America First" party.

This whole government needs to be gutted. The congress and senate are complete cess-pools. The US government is so thoroughly corrupted that it is beyond saving by any means that involves the democratic system.

Lobbyists from large companies and Israel control both political parties, voting machines are wired for election fraud, news networks stump for politicians...

Hell no. "Nationalism" is an element of the motto of the Nazis. Nazi is a mix notice of nationalist and socialist. And nationalism is the clarification why the Nazis committed their atrocities. FYI, in recent times, Jews are white human beings. a minimum of, a lot of those I met. Jews have been in all probability non-white interior the biblical days, yet they're white at present. I do agree that we p.c. a gadget set up for third events to project the proper 2 status quo events, yet that via no skill is it. I nominate the Libertarian occasion to upward thrust, maximum strongly. I additionally like the form occasion, yet i do no longer probable think of there is plenty constitutionalism to their modern-day 2012 presidential nominee. Virgil Goode does not look to care in regards to the theory of the form in any respect.

I think political parties should be done away with completely. We need REPRESENTATIVES. I want the people we send to represent us the voters not a political party. Individual ideas rather than going with the group are what is needed to reform our government.

well it's hard to get me to vote for a Democrat, but I do on occasion, but a third party candidate would have more of a chance at getting my vote than the Dems. Why not revive the Whig party?

NO... We HAVE multiple parties... Green, Libertarian, Reform, Socialist, etc.

What we need is to REFORM how Congress works (or does NOT work)... lobbying, their pay, their pensions, their perks, the number of days they are in session...

I wonder what changes CAN be made....
