Respect us? You must be joking. The US democracy is the antithesis of the theocratic Islamic Republic of Iran.

The preamble to the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran states, "the central axis of the theocracy shall be the Qur'an and hadith...The Assembly of Experts...fram[ed] the Constitution...[after input] by the government...with the hope that this century will witness the establishment of a universal holy government and the downfall of all others."

But Iran will appreciate when we withdraw from Iraq because then the Shi'ah clergy can overthrow the weak Iraqi government and come one step closer to their dream of establishing a caliphate from Iran to Lebanon (remember Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei is the Supreme Leader of Iran and the commander in chief of the military - not President Ahmadinejad). Most of Iraq's clergy trained in Iran. Iran's clergy would appreciate if we would withdraw all our troops from anywhere in the world. Iran's clergy would appreciate if we would not protest their enriching uranium.

Anything that we do which will help Iran in the "establishment of a universal holy government" will be an asset to Iran. Will they ever respect us? The answer to that is no.

A united states attack on Iran could in basic terms exacerbate each concern we at the instant face: an financial gadget in ruins, a international presence that's a shaggy dog tale, skyrocketing capability costs, a broken militia, pointless spending on a ineffective and stupid conflict of determination, and finally and worst, greater uselessly ineffective American militia.

Personally I'd be a bit miffed if I were them and we deserted them to allow radical Muslims to over throw the country and turn it into a terrorist training grounds. Com.e on, they had Sadam for years. Give em a break

I would say less. This is because they will think we are cowards and we tuck our tails in and run when things get hard. Plus they will think if they complain and moan enough, they can get whatever they want and not be held accountable.

They never had respect for us, that is why they hate us. They will go back to business as usual as soon as we leave. Except without us there they will only have themselves to kill instead of us.
