ive been finding lately that ive been having a lighter flow. (last two periods). im only 16 and im NOT sexually active. ive ONLY started to get the mucus about 4 months ago and im on year 3 of my period. last month, it was light, and after that, i hardly had any mucus, and then i just started my period and its VERY light. its usually heavy at this point ? im just worried that somethings wrong. i don't know if theres a stress because schools started, i just don't know if i should ask my doctor. i didn't even get cramps this time . please help

At this age it's perfectly normal to have irregular everything, from flow to regularity or anything like that. A new exercise program, diet, stress, weight gain or loss, or just for no reason at all your body can change around when it comes to that area. If all this is still going on in your early 20s, you could bring it up with your doctor. But always keep your eyes open.
