Veritas is pronounced exactly like it is spelled.
The "Ver" is pronounced the same way as the "ver" in "very." The "it" is pronounced just like the word "it."
The last two letters, "as" are pronounced like the "os" in "possible."
The accent is on the first syllable.
"Veritas" means "truth." It is the official slogan of Harvard University.

Ae= aye qui=quee tas= toss ab= awb V= u and makes a sound sort of like W here eri= erry tas= toss. that would be Roman. The Latin A is always like in father, the I like ee in speech, most people pronounce them as English words.

We as English speakers would say Ve- like the ve in very, It as in Italian and Tas as in Tassle. I believe though that the correct Latin pronunciation of the Ve is Weh as in When.
Weh-rit-as.

There are several styles of Latin pronunciation, so no single correct way. Werr-itt-asss is probably closest to the original, verr-itt-asss how older people were taught to say it in school, and verr-eet-asss and verr-ite-asss are minority styles (I had to put in an extra letter 's' at the ends of these to stop Yahoo munging them).
