Be afraid. Be very afraid!
That's what we're stuck with. The old "barbarians are at the gates" routine. Used to be saved up for budget time, now it's being used as an excuse to subvert the Constitution. No end of air-heads to bellow and phart their support.

This is truly amazing! I NEVER would've thought that when people said that "history repeats itself" that it would apply to Nazi Germany in the late 1930's and early 1940's.
The similarities are uncanny. You have your anti-Semitic dictator with a following of fundamentalists, even with similar salutes! They want to KILL (not negotiate with) anyone who does not fall in line with their beliefs. They all believe in a "struggle" ("Jihad" means inner struggle" and "Mein Kampf" also means "my struggle"). You also have your clueless, liberal leader with a totally useless peace agreement. In the late 1930's, Prime Minister Chamberlain proclaimed that he had an agreement that Hitler would not seize any more land (right before he invaded Russia and Poland). In 1994, Bill Clinton sold nukes to terrorists with the intent that they would not create a nuclear weapon, and just this week N. Korea tested a nuclear weapon against this very same agreement. All the while, Americans were concerned with their simple, little minuscule issues while ignoring the very real threats of terrorism.
It seems like we are going to have to learn the hard way all over again. Believe me, I don't want to hear it as much as the next person. But if our government officials are not going to take swift and appropriate action, then our freedoms WILL be threatened. I remember when Reagan created the technology to intercept missiles in-flight and the American public thought he was CRAZY, calling the project "Star Wars". We will see exactly who is crazy when it becomes our first line of defense in the event of a nuclear attack.
Now, I do not totally agree with everything Pres. Bush has done so far (i.e., immigration, Harriet Meyers nomination, pork spending, Dubai ports deal), but I thank GOD that he has been a President of National Security in these times as opposed to some clueless leader who pretends that this problem does not exist. Terrorism can only exist through controlled fear, so in essence we cannot allow the fear to control us and how we live our lives. Terrorism must be recognized and then defeated.

You better wake up, Terrorism is a reality not propaganda. We are in a very dangerous situation here, there are home -grown terrorists we need to protect against. Unless this country closes his borders, or at least be more vigilant who they allow to enter the US, we will face threats and bombings in this country. Selling your TV was like sticking your head in the sand, you will have a rude awakening, we will be attacked again, all the experts agree on this, the question is when. Thank God our Intelligence People have banded together and are protecting us well.

Yes I am tired of the fear being peddled by the Repubs to scare Americans into voting for them regardless of the fact that they are all corrupt and protecting child molestors.

There are only 2 ways to win an election. #1 is to say what you think everyone wants to hear. #2 is fear. So in answer to your question. Yes I'm tired of it, but it is going to keep happening.

I don't suffer from that fear. I believe we're safer now than when 9/11 occured. When you fear them you're giving them just what they want. Get another TV and watch news on FOX

You should call on the Jaws of Life so your head can be pulled out of your ***. It's deep, maybe they can save you!
If not, you won't be missed.
