Personaly, I think the show needs all of the characters, or it just wouldn't be the same.

To me the original cast members of the original CSI are like the cast of Friends or Will & Grace; they should all stay. As for some of the minor characters, Eckley, the dorky annoying lab guy (not Greg), and the female former cop - CSI -and now cop again could all go. The characters have not been developed enough for us to care about them.
As for Bunky the Clown's answer, dude Get A Life!! If you don't like the show, don't watch ... and by the way you're CSI: Miami not the original show.

Some one of the NY series. It's the one I like the least out of the three. You are right about the series needing all the characters. Last night, I was worried Greg was gonna die.

If I had to pick it would be Sara because she is just so annoying and tries to make everyone sorry for her. I would also pick Lindsay because she talks way to much and is quite annoying. I hate the whole Danny Lindsay story line and think that they should just get rid of it!

Although I love the show I have not been to happy with the new season. I'd have to say Catherine Willows could go and I wouldn't miss her.
